- - Cannot cancel until May 2027 after contacting support.
- - There is a $25.00 monthly charge.
- - Support is not helpful; the program is unclear.
I can't cancel my subscription with them until May 2027. I decided that I didn't want the service, so I called, and they told me I can't cancel until next year.
I think they should tell you that once you subscribe, there will be a 25.00 dollar charge each month.
I am disappointed about the service I receive; I can't even get help on how the program works. I hate this service.
- Price
- Put you in a plan for a whole year
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Make sure you get all the information. Very disappointed customer

Verified Reviewer |Weight Watchers App is a LIE !
- - Signed up for a 30-day free trial, paid $11, canceled, but WW still bills; no active subscription shows on iPhone; another charge is planned.
Update: Friday, 12/12/2025I called WW Customer Service by phone. They told me that I signed a 12-month commitment and instructed me to go back and read the WW receipt in my email.I reviewed it and explained to Customer Service that the terms are very vague and misleading.
The promotion states:“Weight Watchers — just $11/month + first month free! While you can cancel your membership at any time, cancellation takes effect at the end of the 12-month commitment period, meaning you will continue to be billed until the full term is paid.”The wording is confusing and twisted. Readers would reasonably believe it means $11 per month and you can cancel at any time.
However, in reality, even if you cancel, you are still locked into monthly payments for 12 months.I never knowingly agreed to a 12-month commitment. The language used was misleading and lured customers into signing up without clearly stating the obligation.
I used the WW app and signed up for a one-month free trial. I paid $11 one time in July 2025. I cancelled before the end of the 30-day trial. I attempted several times to cancel my membership, but WW continues to charge me $11 for August, September, October, and November.
They are scheduled to charge me again on December 30, 2025. It was supposed to be a 30-day free trial with only one payment. Instead, they locked me into a contract until July 2026. This is not right!
I joined Weight Watchers years ago from 2007 to 2010 and never had any issues.
But the WW app is an online rip-off. We never agreed to a one-year contract.
- I used to be in ww 2007-2010
Preferred solution: Refund and WW needs to be honest and transparent to cancel anytime ! not to LIE to people !

Need to cancel being charged 45 dollars a month
I need to cancel my membership. That's it, I should be able to do that.
Please call me! I'm very upset; I can't get out of this. It is not fair! I have not been there in months!
I really believe it should not be this difficult to get out of something!
Please help me as soon as possible. My husband is so upset; we are being billed every month!

Verified ReviewerWW changed the app I pay for making it unusable, but I have to keep paying
- - Committed to a year, but app changes are less convenient and upsell-focused.
- - Cannot cancel and will pay for 7 months for a product I can no longer use.
I committed to a year paying to use their app but it has changed recently. The service degradation is significant.
The current app experience no longer provides the same core functionality and ease of use that I relied on when I agreed to this plan. Specifically, features important to me have been made harder to access, and prioritization is given to upsells over core function. As a result, it is no longer a practical or effective tool for me, and it does not reflect the service I originally signed up for. Despite changing the plan I signed up for, I'm not allowed to cancel it.
For the next 7 months, I'm paying a monthly fee for a product that I relied on but can no longer use (not because of a lack of technical skills but because it's so many steps now for what used to be simple that I no longer have time to use it). What used to be a one-click action, now now requires wading through commercials for their services and menus and other junk to enter my foods.
Saved and pre-calculated items have been moved to a new hidden menu. I would have never committed to paying for this, and I shouldn't be held to a contract when the service changed this significantly.
- Good program that works
- Calculator comes with ads upsells and is unusable
- You can only use it with their calculator
Preferred solution: Allow me to cancel the service because I committed to a year but the service has significantly changed.
User's recommendation: know that they can change what you get for your money but you still have to continue to pay
Extend my WW plan.i love the WW app. It keeps us on track. Both my husband and I have it. He's lost 40 pounds and I've lost 15.
I called to extend our program for another year!! We have been using this app for over a year and it helps us tremendously. We are more aware of which foods to avoid.
User's recommendation: Use the app, it helps you chose the best foods.

- - I've tried contacting care team to change membership 2 days with no reply; app blocks scheduling; I paid 1/28/2026 and will be charged tomorrow.
For 2 days I have been reaching out to my care team, to change my membership, and have not heard back from them. I cannot schedule an appointment due technical issues on app.
So I payed initially on 1/28/2026 and will be charged again tomorrow and I haven't even started yet.
Please have my care team reach out to me ASAP. 312-802=9549Cyndi
User's recommendation: Don’t sign up ! The WW APP doesn’t work well .
Change of apps
- - Frequent app changes hinder navigation.
- - I may not resubscribe.
- - Points tracking shows upload error.
- - Want weight tracking and weekly progress.
They keep changing the app it's hard to Navigate. I hate it.
I probably won't resubscibe. Yesterday I was unable to track my points it kept saying unable to upload try again later.
I would love to be able to track my weight and be able to see my progress weekly. I'm frustrated that I can't figure it out.

- - Unable to cancel a charge posted before GLP1 approval.
- - Cannot locate the finance department to cancel the discharge posted to my account.
Too controlling, unable to process a refund, doesn't reply to my concerns.
I'm unable to cancel the charge already posted to my account before I've even been approved for the GLP1. I had issues with changing my password (4 times). And now I can't find the finance department to cancel discharge has already been posted to my account.
User's recommendation: Stay away
It works if you track.
The app should work better. The app froze trying to sell me wygovy etc. My doctor does not think I should use drugs at this time.
I got scammed
- - Canceled within 7 days; cancellation confirmed, but charged.
- - Alleges strict, unexplained policy and charges.
- - Concerns about impact on seniors.
Like many others, I was under the impression I had 7 days to trial an app. I canceled it the very next day and they confirmed my cancellation.
But they continue to charge me. I have filed multiple complaints and their argument is they have a very strict cancellation policy which is never explained. Even in their offer to allow you to continue to use the app they do not say you will continue to be charged. Once they get a hold of your financial information, they will abuse it in any way they feel comfortable.
Even their admission that you misunderstood the terms should be a valid reason to terminate a contract not to refuse to terminate it. Material mistake of fact is a valid formation issue.
I've even seen reviews where they've taken advantage of people 70 plus years old living on social security. This is a heartless company taking advantage of the public the doj needs to get involved
User's recommendation: Do not give them your financial information you will never be able to stop it

Verified ReviewerThey Steal Your Money
- - Cancelled two years ago, but charges continued monthly.
- - One-click cancellation seemed effective, yet billing persisted and disputes required old proof.
I cancelled my Weight Watchers membership over two years ago, yet they have continued charging me every month since. The cancellation process is misleading; they make it seem like you can cancel with just one click, but even after confirming cancellation, they keep billing you.
When I finally called to dispute the charges, they asked if I had the original cancellation email or proof from two years ago. Of course, I don’t still have that, and their response was basically: 'It's your responsibility to keep track.' That's completely unfair. To make it worse, I never received a single email or notification from them during this time—no check-ins, no 'how are we doing,' nothing. It feels intentional, like they want you to forget you’re still being charged.
This is a terrible company with terrible business practices. Don’t sign up, and if you do, watch your bank account very closely, because cancelling doesn’t mean they’ll stop charging you.
- Expensive
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Don't use them - this company counts on you using the online cancellation policy and keeps charging you
